Personality
Reserved - protective - generous - level headed - patient - thoughtful - modest
You won't get much out of this stallion in the first meeting, and certainly not a new best friend, but he'll come around when you get to know him. He's quiet and keeps to himself, being quite used and comfortable with being alone after years of solitude, and he knows that anyone who puts up with his personality is worth keeping around as a friend - if they stay. He rarely acts on impulse and always thinks things through before doing anything, and he certainly doesn't like it when he has to make quick decisions. He's very protective of those he holds dear and takes good care of them, his ultimate goal always being the safety of others over his own. Give him these compliments to his face, however, and he'll always brush you off and say he's simply doing his duty.

History
Daithi was born into a wild herd of horses where his mother was at the bottom of the pecking order. Although he never posed a problem to any of the other horses and always kept to himself, he was chased away by the lead stallion at a very young age and left to fend for himself. Thankfully he quickly grew into a strong stallion, being pretty heavy-set even for a Mustang, and he learned to stay away from trouble - even though he could probably face it if he wanted to. He never managed to get a mare of his own, let alone a herd, and has been roaming around for many years now looking after himself. He became very solitary, never really having any friends apart from the occasional travelling companions that came and went, and although he always wanted a herd of his own he settled for not having one until he grew older and found a suitable place to live.
Although he prefers avoiding dangerous situations, Daithi couldn't help but get himself tangled up in a few - quite literally. The scars from his face are the only remaining result of getting mixed in with some barbed wire, though at the time he was quite heavily injured. The other scar was caused by a falling branch that ripped open his shoulder. Thankfully he was never really involved in any other real dangers, however.
